**Data Processing & Storage:**OlistServers is a self-hosted file service tool that runs the OpenList kernel directly on your own iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac. We DO NOT operate any account system, DO NOT sell personal data, and DO NOT store your files, storage credentials, access tokens, or browsing history on our servers. The service listens on your device (default port 5244); its configuration file config.json, admin credentials, local logs, and preview cache all stay in the app sandbox on your device. Third-Party Storage You Connect: Any cloud drive, WebDAV, SMB, FTP, or object storage you add is configured by you and connected directly from your device to that provider. Requests are forwarded or 302-redirected by the local service; we do not intercept, relay, mirror, or analyze that traffic, and your credentials are never transmitted to us. Your use of each provider is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. Permissions & Local Network: Local Network access is used solely so that other devices on your LAN can reach the service you started, and so the app can resolve its own LAN address for display. Notifications are used only to report service start / failure / keep-alive status. Background App Refresh is used only to check and restore your own service. No permission is used for tracking. iCloud & Third-Party Services: iCloud sync is optional and off by default; when enabled it copies your OpenList config.json through your own personal iCloud (Key-Value store / iCloud Drive) and never through our infrastructure. Note that this configuration may contain storage credentials, so keep iCloud sync enabled only on devices you trust. Choosing an external player (Infuse, VLC, nPlayer, SenPlayer, Fileball, IINA, mpv) hands a playback URL to that app via its URL scheme; its handling of the stream is governed by its own policy. We DO NOT include any third-party advertising, behavior analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs. Logs & Data Control: In-app logs are generated locally for troubleshooting, are not uploaded, and are redacted on display to hide device paths and user names. You can stop the service, clear the preview cache, disable iCloud sync, remove storage configurations, or delete the app at any time to remove all local data.
